What can I expect?
During your first appointment you can expect a thorough review of your medical history, dental history, and oral self care regime. The oral assessment provides us with baseline information to your current oral health status in order to make a proper diagnoses and treatment plan. We then typically proceed with preventive dental hygiene treatment onsite. Our services are delivered bedside or chair side depending on the physical needs and comfort of the individual. Family is encouraged to be present during appointments, to provide addition comfort if needed. We understand that dental treatment can be anxiety inducing for individuals, especially those with cognitive challenges therefore we do everything possible to ensure that the patient is as comfortable as possible.
We are a fee for service practise but aid in ensuring that you are reimbursed by your insurance provider for the services rendered. We are happy to help guide you though your insurance policy and help you better understand the coverage provided.
